BlockBeats News, October 1st, Web3 version of TikTok social media platform X.me recently announced the completion of a $30 million strategic financing. This round of financing was led by Tido Capital, with participation from Genesis Capital, Alpha Capital, Rollman Management, Parallel Ventures, WAGMi Ventures, and Web3vision, among other institutions. The financing will be mainly used for the platform token issued by the X.me Foundation.
The X.me platform encourages users to earn XPoints through social behaviors such as watching videos and interacting, with XPoints being exchangeable for the platform’s native token. Additionally, this financing will also support the launch of live streaming functionality, the development of a media-specific blockchain, and a stablecoin.
