Bloomberg: Athena Bitcoin Accused of Stealing AML Bitcoin ATM Source Code

BlockBeats News, September 25th, according to Bloomberg, AML Company has accused Bitcoin ATM operator Athena Bitcoin Inc. of orchestrating a “fraudulent scheme” in a federal lawsuit, alleging the theft of AML Software Inc.’s computer source code used for Bitcoin ATMs, constituting copyright infringement and unlawful misappropriation of trade secrets.

According to the complaint filed in the Southern District of Florida federal court, Athena, through a series of transactions, entered into agreements with entities it knew were transferring AML source code to it.

AML stated that some parts of this source code are trade secrets known only to developers who have signed nondisclosure agreements.
