GriffinAI Founder: Attacker Launches Attack by Introducing a LayerZero Impersonation Node

BlockBeats News, September 25th, GriffinAI founder @Griffin_AI revealed in a post that GAIN (on the BNB chain) experienced an abnormal minting several hours ago, followed by a large-scale sell-off, resulting in a sharp price drop. Upon investigation, the attacker initiated the attack by introducing an unauthorized LayerZero fake node:

They deployed a fake Ethereum contract (token TTTTT, address 0x7a8caf) and added it as a LayerZero node for GAIN on the Ethereum side, bypassing the official contract (0xccdbb9). The attacker then minted an additional 5 billion GAIN on the BNB chain and continued to sell off. Currently, the attacker’s wallet still holds an excess amount of tokens.
