BlockBeats News, September 26: According to CME’s “FedWatch” data, the probability of a 25 basis point rate cut by the Fed in October is currently 87.7% as of tonight before the release of the August core PCE data in the United States. The probability of rates staying unchanged is 12.3%.

The probability of a cumulative 50 basis point rate cut by the Fed by December is currently 61.9%, while the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point rate cut is 34.5%, with a 3.6% probability of rates staying unchanged.

The next two FOMC meetings are scheduled for October 29 and December 10.
