BlockBeats News, September 26th, Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas revealed that BlackRock has filed for a new product called iShares Bitcoin Premium ETF, a fund that uses a covered call options strategy. Unlike traditional spot ETFs that passively track the Bitcoin price, the iShares Bitcoin Premium ETF will hold Bitcoin while also earning option premiums by selling covered call options and distributing the income to investors, thereby transforming Bitcoin’s volatility into investment returns.
