BlockBeats News, September 30th, according to CoinDesk, IG Group has announced that it has obtained a cryptocurrency license from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), becoming the first London Stock Exchange-listed company to join the regulator’s crypto registration list.
IG stated that this move paves the way for expanding its cryptocurrency services on its platform. The company is best known for its retail trading and investment products, and in June of this year, it launched cryptocurrency trading through a partnership with Uphold, while its own application was still under review at that time.
