BlockBeats News, October 1st, SlowMist released a statement stating that the official BNB Chain English Twitter account was hacked and used to post a phishing link. The attacker used the spoofed domain bnbchalns[.]com (replacing the letter “i” with “l”) to lure users to visit.
This domain is associated with the Inferno Drainer phishing group. Preliminary tracking shows that one phishing wallet has already stolen from dozens of users. The security team reminds users to remain vigilant and avoid clicking on suspicious links or authorizing unclear contracts.
