The Thailand English newspaper Khaosod confirmed the man to be 39-year-old Pedro M. A Portuguese journalist on vacation in Bangkok first spotted him at a luxury shopping mall. Khaosod did not confirm Pedro’s last name, but his personal information and photos match those of the well-known Portuguese media figure Pedro Mourato.
