The Ethereum Foundation has established the "Privacy Tech Team" with the aim of continuously enhancing the network's privacy features.

BlockBeats News, October 9th, according to official sources, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) announced the establishment of the Privacy Cluster, consisting of 47 top blockchain researchers, engineers, coordinators, and cryptography experts, aiming to advance the privacy features of the Ethereum network. The cluster, coordinated by Igor Barinov, will integrate the Foundation’s existing privacy research and development projects and drive new privacy-focused initiatives. The core projects of the Privacy Cluster include:

Private Reads & Writes (PSE): Enabling private payments, voting, and interactive operations to ensure secure and cost-effective browsing, querying, and authentication for users and businesses.

Private Proving (PSE): Achieving efficient, portable proofs to verify identities, assets, or qualifications without revealing additional information.

Private Identities (PSE): Selective disclosure with the zkID project to protect online identity privacy.

Privacy Experience (PSE): Optimizing the user experience of privacy protocols to make privacy features user-friendly and widespread.

Institutional Privacy Task Force (IPTF): An interdisciplinary team that translates regulatory and operational requirements into privacy standards to help institutions address real-world use cases.

Kohaku: A new privacy wallet and open-source SDK that makes strong cryptographic techniques easy to use.

The Ethereum Foundation stated that privacy should be a core feature of the Ethereum ecosystem. The Foundation will collaborate with the ecosystem to build secure and user-friendly privacy protections for individuals and institutions.
