BlockBeats News, October 9th, The Graph core development team Edge&Node is collaborating with Coinbase to explore Delegated Payments mechanism.
The current x402 standard has supported stablecoin microtransactions based on native HTTP, but if every microtransaction is settled on-chain, the delegate economy will be difficult to scale.
Edge&Node has proposed a delayed settlement scheme:
The delegate “pays” with a signed credential;
Servers aggregate credentials;
Settlement is eventually completed on-chain through a single transaction.
This scheme can achieve microtransactions below one cent and drive high-speed machine-to-machine commerce among millions of delegates.
