U.S. Bancorp’s Chief Digital Officer, Dominic Venturo, stated that customers are seeking to leverage digital assets for safe funds transfer, deposit management, and asset tokenization. The new department will focus on stablecoin issuance, cryptocurrency asset custody, asset tokenization, and digital payments.
