Mining Firm Parhelion Plans to Build Prometheus Statue on Devil’s Peak, Surpassing Statue of Liberty in Height

BlockBeats News, October 19th. According to TheBlock, Ross Calvin, CEO of the Bitcoin mining firm Parhelion, plans to build a 450-foot-tall Prometheus statue on Alcatraz Island in San Francisco, and is about to submit a proposal to Trump. This statue will far exceed the height of the Statue of Liberty (approximately 305 feet from base to torch) and will be made of a nickel-bronze alloy. The project is estimated to cost $450 million.

Alcatraz Island was once a notorious prison that was closed in 1963. Currently a national park, approval from Trump is required to build the statue at this location and establish a national monument. If completed, this statue will become a new landmark in the San Francisco Bay Area.
