Hanwha Invests $13 Million in Kresus Labs to Advance Seedless Wallet and RWA Tokenization

BlockBeats News, February 19th. According to CoinDesk, South Korean venture capital firm Hanwha Investment & Securities has invested approximately $13 million in the U.S. blockchain infrastructure company Kresus Labs to advance its enterprise digital wallet technology and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform.

The funding stems from a memorandum of understanding signed during the Abu Dhabi Financial Week in December last year, aimed at expanding Kresus’s on-chain financial workflows. Kresus focuses on developing consumer and institutional digital asset tools, including “seedless” wallet recovery technology (no traditional 12-24 seed word phrase) and secure systems based on multi-party computation (MPC), as well as institution-grade wallet infrastructure and tokenization platform. Hanwha plans to leverage this technology to enhance its digital asset services and develop tokenized traditional financial products, highlighting institutional continued interest in blockchain infrastructure despite cryptocurrency market volatility.
