BlockBeats News, March 2nd, Social platform X announced the launch of a new content disclosure feature, leading the way with the “Paid Partnership” tag to enhance platform transparency.
According to the official announcement, creators can now clearly mark whether third parties have paid for or provided incentive support for their organic content, without the need to add additional terms such as “ad” or “sponsored” in the body of the post.
X Creators stated that the platform is committed to being a manifestation of the “human true pulse,” with transparency being one of its core principles. Undisclosed promotional content erodes users’ trust in the timeline. A clear labeling mechanism helps strengthen the platform’s credibility and preserve the integrity of the “global public square.”
This feature is currently live on iOS and the web version, with the Android version expected to be released the following day. The platform has also updated its “Paid Partnership Policy,” outlining relevant disclosure guidelines.
