BlockBeats News, March 10th, the Procurator-General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China, Ying Yong, delivered a work report of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate to the Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress, stating that by 2025, efforts to combat money laundering will be intensified, with 3,259 people prosecuted for money laundering crimes involving the use of virtual currencies, underground banks, etc. Law enforcement actions against telecommunications fraud resulted in the prosecution of 69,000 people.
