BlockBeats News, March 14th. Billionaire investor Stanley Druckenmiller stated that blockchain and stablecoins could become the infrastructure of the global payment system in the next 10 to 15 years. He believes that compared to the fiat payment system of traditional banking systems, stablecoins are more efficient, faster, and lower in cost.
During an interview with Morgan Stanley, Druckenmiller pointed out that blockchain and stablecoins are “extremely useful” in improving the efficiency of the payment field and he expects that in the future, most payment systems may operate based on stablecoins.
However, he remains skeptical about cryptocurrencies as a store of value, stating that he prefers gold as the asset with a “5000-year brand” and mentioned that he currently does not hold any Bitcoin.
