According to the well-known media personality Wu, the United States’ largest cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase is in talks with the world’s second-largest offshore exchange Bybit regarding an investment partnership agreement. Bybit hopes to enter the U.S. compliant market through this, and three sources confirmed this news to Wu.
Earlier, ICE invested in the offshore exchange OKX with a valuation of 25 billion USD, and it is expected that Bybit’s valuation may be similar to OKX’s. Coinbase acquired Deribit last year for 2.9 billion USD. Bybit declined to comment on this news.
