BlockBeats News, March 15th, Ethereum treasury company BitMine announced that they are “glad to have acquired ETH held by the Ethereum Foundation at a mutually agreed price to support its relevant work. Will continue to accumulate ETH.”
Earlier reports indicated that the Ethereum Foundation officially stated that today they finalized an OTC transaction for 5,000 ETH, with an average price of $2,042.96 per ETH, totaling approximately $10.22 million. The OTC counterparty is Ethereum’s largest treasury company, BitMine. This sale will fund the Foundation’s core operations and activities, including protocol development, ecosystem expansion, and community grant funds.
