BlockBeats News, March 16th, according to Caixin, the official China Digital Currency Operations and Management Center has announced three types of “scam” fraud schemes:
Scheme one is to carry out pyramid scheme fraud under the guise of “promoting digital currency.” Digital RMB has never carried out activities such as “recruiting promoters,” “promoter exams,” “downloading QR codes,” or “developing downlines,” and has never charged a 400 RMB/device installation service fee. Anyone recruiting “community promoters” through activities such as setting up chat groups or offline/online meetings is engaged in fraud;
Scheme two deceives transfers under the guise of “rebates for placing orders”;
Scheme three deceives users into downloading counterfeit apps to steal information or funds.
