BlockBeats News, March 25th, according to CCTV News, U.S. President Trump stated at the White House that the U.S. has “achieved victory” in its actions against Iran, and Iran has been “completely defeated.” He described the current situation not as a “standoff conflict,” but that Iran has been “thoroughly weakened militarily.”
Trump said, “Iran has ‘no navy, no air force, and lacks effective defense capabilities,” the U.S. has an absolute advantage in the relevant actions, and criticized some media for describing the situation as a ‘stalemate,’ stating that it ‘does not reflect the facts’.” He also pointed out that the U.S. has the ability to further strike Iran’s key infrastructure but emphasized his hope to end the conflict through negotiation to avoid more losses. Trump said, “This conflict can end,” but did not make a definite judgment on the final agreement.
On the nuclear issue, Trump reiterated that Iran “will not have nuclear weapons” and stated that the U.S.’s previous military actions had “destroyed its nuclear capabilities.” He also mentioned that if he had not withdrawn from the Iran nuclear agreement, Iran might have “already obtained nuclear weapons.” He also mentioned that Iran had launched missiles at the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, and other places in the early stages of the conflict, actions that were “unexpected by the outside world.” Trump concluded by expressing his hope to end the current “military operation” through diplomatic means, stating that the goal is to “save the lives of millions of people.”
