Benji Taylor previously founded the self-custodial crypto wallet Family, which was later acquired by Aave where he served as CPO, and in 2024 joined Base as Head of Design.
“If you only consider basic fintech user experience, then this type of background talent is not suitable for you. It is increasingly likely that wallets, on-chain payments, and even ultimately DeFi will become part of X’s development roadmap.”
