BlockBeats News, February 6th, according to Dumpster DAO core member Definalist, South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb staff mistakenly distributed 2000 BTC instead of the intended 2000 Korean won as a reward, causing hundreds of users to accidentally receive this airdrop.

As a result of this incident, the price of Bitcoin on the Bithumb platform temporarily dropped 10% compared to other markets.
