Analysis: The transfer of 200,000 ETH by the whale did not result in a sell-off; the funds moved to Aave and Plasma

BlockBeats News, September 26th. According to EmberCN monitoring, the whale that transferred 200,000 ETH did not sell them. Instead, 100,000 ETH was further transferred to the address “0xc6b…9c7” and then deposited into Aave for staking to earn yield. Another address “0xc6b…9c7” deposited 100,000 ETH into Aave, borrowed 1 million USDT, and then deposited it into Plasma for yield.

According to EmberCN analysis, these ETH may belong to Bitfinex, but it is not clear whether they are user assets or Bitfinex’s own holdings. Additionally, Bitfinex is an investor in Plasma.
