BlockBeats News, September 24th, Aptos Labs announced that the latest consensus upgrade Velociraptr (AIP 131) introduces a new block proposal mechanism that can reduce block time by up to 40%, with Aptos’ current block time being around 100 milliseconds. The initial deployment of Velociraptr on the Aptos validator network is expected to start in September, with full deployment expected to be completed in October.
