BlockBeats News, October 16, according to official sources, Believe has announced that LAUNCHCOIN can now be upgraded to BELIEVE at a 1:1 ratio through the official website. The upgrade period will last two weeks until October 29, 2025. After the upgrade is complete, LAUNCHCOIN holders who have not completed the upgrade can still claim BELIEVE through the official website during the final claim period, which will also be two weeks.
This upgrade is aimed at better supporting the long-term development of the Believe ecosystem. The initial total supply of BELIEVE is set at 1.33 billion, a 25% increase from LAUNCHCOIN. Of this amount, 17% is allocated to reward current and future contributors, 5% is allocated to early investors, and 3% is allocated to foundation projects. The contributor allocation follows a four-year vesting period with a one-year cliff, the investor allocation has a one-year lockup, and foundation tokens are immediately circulating.
After the upgrade is complete, all unclaimed tokens will be permanently burned, aiming to control the total supply to around 1 billion. LAUNCHCOIN will no longer be supported or maintained after the upgrade period ends, and holders are advised by the official team to carefully review the upgrade details.
