BlockBeats News, September 28th, Cathie Wood, Founder and CEO of Ark Invest, stated in an interview with The Master Investor podcast that she has some differences in opinion with Tom Lee. She believes that Ethereum cannot surpass Bitcoin, despite her growing interest in Ethereum and her recent purchase of BitMine stock.
Wood stated that she prefers Bitcoin over Ethereum because Bitcoin’s scale will continue to expand. It is a rule-based global monetary system and, as an unhacked Layer 1, it is also the first platform to create an entirely new asset class. In contrast, while Ethereum supports DeFi, it is facing intense competition from Layer 2 solutions.
