BlockBeats News, October 2nd, on-chain detective ZachXBT revealed that in the Coinbase hack incident, the attacker exchanged about 5 million DAI for about 5 million USDC, and then held this fund in the form of USDC for 35 minutes. Due to Circle’s lack of compliance freeze, these funds were subsequently cross-chain transferred.
The hacker stole over $300 million in funds from Coinbase users by bribing customer support.
