BlockBeats News, October 9th, according to CNBC report, Citigroup has invested in stablecoin infrastructure company BVNK through its venture capital division Citi Ventures, with the amount undisclosed. BVNK provides a global stablecoin transaction payment channel, allowing customers to quickly convert funds between fiat currency and cryptocurrency.
Citigroup CEO Jane Fraser stated in June of this year that the company is considering issuing its own stablecoin and providing cryptocurrency custody services.
