BlockBeats News, September 22. According to Cointelegraph, Giggle Academy, a Web 3 education platform supported by Binance founder CZ, raised over $1 million in donations after announcing that it would accept cryptocurrency donations. GiggleFund stated that the majority of the funds came from a 5% transaction tax generated by the GIGGLE token, with around $20 million in trading volume.
Yesterday evening, CZ mentioned that as a free (zero-revenue) educational platform, it is challenging to incentivize contributors. To address this issue and expand its coverage, donations will be accepted. All donation transactions will be on-chain, fully traceable, and require no fiat currency. The donated funds will be used to drive community development and creator incentives.
BlockBeats Note: The GIGGLE token is not the official token of Giggle Academy but rather a meme token on the BSC chain. It has not received official endorsement, so investors should exercise caution.
