Eigen Labs has released the Beta version of AgentKit, supporting the creation of self-sovereign AI agents holding assets.

BlockBeats News, March 27, Eigen Labs released the first Beta version of AgentKit, which is a developer tool kit for building AI agents that can hold assets, make payments, manage identity, and operate autonomously online.

The initial use cases for AgentKit focus on “autonomous media agents,” which can generate content (text, image, audio, video), manage their own social presence, and remain operational. In the coming weeks, Eigen Labs will expand AgentKit to integrate with popular social platforms, add new agent management templates, and introduce a user-friendly interface. Future versions of AgentKit will also introduce native support for standards such as x402 and ERC-8004.
