BlockBeats News, March 6th, Emirates Airlines stated that as the world’s largest international airline seeks to recover from a week-long shutdown caused by the Middle East conflict-induced airspace closure, it is expected to resume full route operations in the coming days.
Emirates Airlines said in a statement on Friday that the resumption of commercial flight operations depends on airspace opening and meeting all operational requirements. The airline said it had transported about 30,000 passengers out of Dubai on Thursday. By March 7th, Emirates Airlines will have 106 daily round-trip flights to 83 destinations, accounting for nearly 60% of its route network.
Due to Iran’s retaliatory strike forcing the United Arab Emirates to close its airspace and causing minor structural damage to the hub of the airline — Dubai International Airport, the Dubai flagship carrier had previously canceled thousands of flights. (Financialnews)
