BlockBeats News, February 26, Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake announced the Ethereum Foundation’s “strawmap” roadmap, planning seven hard forks by the end of 2029, envisioning an upgrade every 6 months. The roadmap includes five milestones: fast L1 finality, a “gigagas” L1 achieving 10k TPS through zkEVM, a “teragas” L2 achieved through data availability sampling, post-quantum cryptography, and native L1 privacy for shielding ETH transfers.
