According to the Ethereum Foundation official blog, the ETH Rangers program, initiated by the Ethereum Foundation in collaboration with Secureum, The Red Guild, and the Security Alliance (SEAL) at the end of 2024, has completed its six-month operation. The milestone achievements of the 17 grant recipients have been officially announced.
In terms of overall results, the program has assisted in recovering or freezing over $5.8 million, identified and reported over 785 vulnerabilities, client bugs, and Proof of Concept (PoC) submissions, identified approximately 100 nation-state-backed hackers infiltrating Web3 organizations, provided threat awareness content to over 209,000 users, handled more than 36 security incident responses, and developed or improved over 7 open-source toolkits.
