BlockBeats News, October 11th, Galaxy Digital has secured a $460 million private investment to retrofit its former Bitcoin mining site in Texas into a large-scale artificial intelligence data center. The company announced on Friday that the transaction involved acquiring 12.77 million Class A shares at a price of $36 per share, with the proceeds to be used specifically for general corporate purposes and expanding its Helios campus, expected to provide 133 megawatts of IT capacity by early 2026. The transaction is expected to close around October 17, 2025, pending approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange.
