BlockBeats News, April 18th – Mehdi Tabatabai, Deputy Director of News and Communication at the Iranian Presidential Office, stated on April 17th local time that the conditional and limited opening of a section of the Strait of Hormuz was a proactive move by Iran.
Tabatabai wrote on social media the same day, stating that this action reflects Iran’s responsible attitude and is also a test of whether the relevant parties will fulfill their commitments. He warned that if the other party violates the commitments, they will “reap what they sow.”
