Iranian Official Says Resisted US’s Three Major “Unreasonable Demands” in Negotiations

BlockBeats News, April 13th. Nabaviyan, Vice Chairman of the National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament, who participated in the US-Iran negotiations in Islamabad, stated on social media that during the negotiation process, the US and Iran had three major principled disagreements:

The US requested an “equitable sharing of interests” with Iran in the benefits and management of the Strait of Hormuz;

The US demanded that Iran send all 60% enriched uranium out of the country;

The US demanded the deprivation of all of Iran’s uranium enrichment rights for the next 20 years.

Nabaviyan emphasized that the Iranian delegation firmly defended national interests and “resisted the aforementioned unreasonable demands.”
