
BlockBeats News, March 18th, according to Iranian sources, Qasem Soleimani and his son Mohsen Soleimani were assassinated in their daughter’s home in Parand, with deputy Ali Reza Birgia also killed. The New York Times reported that the funerals of Soleimani and his son will be held on the 18th.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on the 17th local time that Soleimani had been killed. It is reported that the Israeli military launched an airstrike early that day at a location in Iran’s capital, Tehran.
