BlockBeats News, November 11th, according to Fortune magazine, Perp DEX Lighter has announced the completion of a new $68 million funding round.
Lighter’s 40-year-old founder and CEO, Vladimir Novakovski, stated that this funding round was led by Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund and fintech investor Ribbit Capital, with participation from Haun Ventures and online brokerage Robinhood (the latter rarely participates in venture capital).
According to sources familiar with the matter, this funding round has valued Lighter at around $1.5 billion. Novakovski declined to disclose valuation details but mentioned that this funding round includes both equity and token subscription rights.
