McCordic recently mentioned in a podcast appearance that previous airdrop projects usually used a verification system to determine user eligibility before they could claim the airdrop. The Monad airdrop will not follow this approach; instead, it will have a specific time window during which users must complete certain tasks to be eligible for the airdrop.
