BlockBeats News, March 12th. Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, has yet to make a public appearance, sparking intense speculation about his severe injury. In the face of swirling rumors, the son of the Iranian president and other senior relatives rushed to clarify, insisting that the new leader is “safe and sound.”
A relative of Mujtaba told the Financial Times: “He is currently in good condition and is still busy with his work. For security and political reasons, he has decided not to make any public appearances for the time being. To some extent, this is also creating uncertainty for his opponents, preventing them from obtaining accurate information about him. Let them guess slowly.” The expert conference did not clarify whether Khamenei was present at the meeting, nor did it provide detailed information about the voting process.
Prior to this, in an interview, Iran’s ambassador to Cyprus, Alireza Salarian, stated that Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mujtaba Khamenei, was injured in the US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran on February 28th.
