BlockBeats News, February 12th, Musk said that after two co-founders left earlier this week, he has restructured his artificial intelligence startup xAI. He said xAI will be divided into four core areas: Grok, Programming, Imagine video products, and Macrohard, which is responsible for generating and managing the company’s digital intelligence.
Prior to this meeting, the startup’s two co-founders, Jimmy Ba and Tony Wu, resigned in succession, and several other employees have also left in the past few days.
Before these departures, xAI had just merged with SpaceX, pushing the merged company’s valuation to $1.25 trillion. This deal may help alleviate xAI’s financial pressure, as the company has been burning through a lot of cash in the process of building data centers, purchasing expensive computing chips, and covering talent costs.
