BlockBeats News, September 21, according to Coinmarketcap data, the Altcoin Season Index today is reported as 79 (yesterday was 78), staying in the “alt season” zone for the fourth consecutive day, higher than last week’s average of 72 and last month’s average of 42. The index hit a nearly one-year high of 87 last December.
The index indicates that in the past 90 days, about 79 projects among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market cap have outperformed Bitcoin in price.
