This proposal aims to deploy Aave V4 on the Ethereum mainnet with a security-first approach and adopt conservative risk parameters and a Hub and Spoke configuration. In the initial release, Aave V4 will operate on a dedicated interface. Subsequent steps will involve submitting an AIP proposal containing the full risk parameters to formally complete the code deployment and activation.
Aave V4 introduces a modular architecture where a liquidity core holds shared liquidity, and branches define specific lending environments with governance-constrained risk exposure. The initial deployment plan establishes three cores: Core, Prime, and Plus, supporting assets including AAVE, GHO, wstETH, weETH, cbBTC, USDC, USDT, LINK, XAUt, among others.
