The Aave Community has activated the Aave V4 on the Ethereum Mainnet through the ARFC proposal.

BlockBeats News, March 23, according to the Aave Governance page, the ARFC proposal to activate Aave V4 on the Ethereum mainnet has been successfully voted on. This proposal aims to deploy Aave V4 on the Ethereum mainnet with a security-first approach and adopt conservative risk parameters and a Hub and Spoke configuration. In the initial release, Aave V4 will operate on a dedicated interface. Subsequent steps will involve submitting an AIP proposal containing the full risk parameters to formally complete the code deployment and activation.

Aave V4 introduces a modular architecture where a liquidity core holds shared liquidity, and branches define specific lending environments with governance-constrained risk exposure. The initial deployment plan establishes three cores: Core, Prime, and Plus, supporting assets including AAVE, GHO, wstETH, weETH, cbBTC, USDC, USDT, LINK, XAUt, among others.
