BlockBeats News, December 28, according to CME’s “FedWatch” data, the probability of the Fed cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in January next year has slightly increased to 17.7%, while the probability of rates staying unchanged is 82.3%.

The probability of the Fed keeping rates unchanged until March next year is 46.7%, the probability of a cumulative 25 basis point cut is 45.6%, and the probability of a cumulative 50 basis point cut is 7.7%.

The dates of the next two FOMC meetings are January 28, 2026, and March 18, 2026.
