BlockBeats News, September 16th, according to Cointelegraph report, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will partner with the Exponential Science Foundation, a non-profit organization advocating for blockchain and artificial intelligence, to launch the “Government Blockchain Academy” next year.
The academy will provide government agencies with professional education on blockchain, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies, as well as implementation projects to help governments drive transformation. It will focus on using blockchain technology to address urgent development challenges, including creating trusted and verifiable digital credentials, improving financial services and digital payments, tracking and accounting for public procurement processes, preserving tamper-proof records to combat corruption, and using tokens and smart contracts for climate financing, among others. The academy is scheduled to launch in select countries in 2026, and curriculum design work will begin this year.
