BlockBeats News, October 15th, according to Cointelegraph, despite the recent cryptocurrency market downturn and less than three months left until the end of the year, BitMine Chairman Tom Lee and BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes are still sticking to their prediction that the price of Ethereum (ETH) will reach $10,000 this year.
Tom Lee stated in an interview with the Bankless podcast on Tuesday: “For Ethereum, the end-of-year price will be between $10,000 and $12,000.” In the same podcast episode, Arthur Hayes said he would “stay the course” and maintain his year-end $10,000 prediction.
The current Ethereum price is around $4,129. If it were to rise to $10,000, it would mean an increase of about 142%. Both Tom Lee and Arthur Hayes believe that this target is still achievable in the remaining time of this year and can even be considered a conservative estimate.
