Linea’s team stated that the relationship between LINEA and ETH is like that of silver and gold. They will empower the Ethereum ecosystem through a native asset income mechanism, a dual-token burn model (ETH + LINEA), value flowing back to the Layer 1 network, and sustainable funding for open-source software.
