Users can participate by quoting and retweeting the official tweet with a proposed Chinese name for Solana. The reward rules state that the best-performing proposal tweet will receive 66 SOL, the second-place will receive 33 SOL, and another participant will be randomly selected to receive 1 SOL.
The official statement mentioned that “best-performing” may comprehensively refer to community platform data, trends on Trends, and other indicators. The event has now begun and will end on October 17, 2025, at 14:00 (UTC+8).
Earlier today, the Solana official X account and founder Toly both retweeted the Trends.fun tweet about soliciting a Chinese name for Solana. Trends founder Mable said, “A few days ago, someone reminded me that Solana still doesn’t have a Chinese name. Ethereum’s Chinese name, Ethereum, helped ETH spread better in the East. Perhaps now is the time to listen to the community’s voice? Choose a good Chinese name.”
