BlockBeats News, March 8th, according to ABC News, in a recent interview, Trump stated that as Iran is getting closer to electing its next Supreme Leader, if that candidate does not receive his approval beforehand, then the new leader “will not be around very long.” He said in the interview: “He has to get our approval, and if he doesn’t, he’s not going to be around very long. We can’t let that happen. We have to make sure that we don’t go through the same thing every 10 years, especially when you don’t have a president like me who is not going to compromise.” He added: “I don’t want people to go through the same thing again in 5 years, and, even worse, we can’t let them have nuclear weapons.” (FXStreet)
