BlockBeats News, October 2nd, during the Token2049 summit, Dr. Xiao Feng, Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, jointly initiated the “Ethereum Applications Guild” (EAG) initiative with Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
The initiative aims to bring together developers, researchers, teams, and institutions in the Ethereum ecosystem to collectively build an open, transparent, and sustainable collaboration mechanism, accelerate the development and real-world implementation of native applications, and propel the Ethereum ecosystem from being “infrastructure-led” to a new phase of “application-driven.”
The EAG is not a traditional foundation or accelerator but an open initiative that seeks to build a global collaboration network for Ethereum-native applications. With Shanhaiwu as its primary application incubation site, it encourages more developers to build, validate, and promote real-world problem-solving solutions. This initiative proposes not an organizational entity but a mechanism concept, constructing a new generation of collaboration paradigm for builders in the Ethereum ecosystem.
